Meet Baylee!<\/h2>\n

Baylee Senator is a Graduate Student at Marshall University, majoring in Computer Science. Baylee joined the Marshall Online Team as a Graduate Assistant in July of 2024. Baylee supports the Marshall U app,\u00a0 chatbox, student programs, outreach initiatives, as well as data collection and analysis.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your major and year?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m a Graduate student majoring in Computer Science.<\/p>\n

How long have you worked with Marshall Online?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since July 2024.<\/p>\n

What is your favorite part of working with the Marshall Online Team?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Its such an inviting and welcoming space while still being very professional. The people are amazing. I especially love how I get to work with so many smart and amazing women.<\/p>\n

How have you grown professionally while on our team?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

This team is an amazing place to grow. I haven’t been here long but I know I will be able to practice and improve my collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills while working here.<\/p>\n

What might surprise us about you?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I can wiggle my nose and lick my elbow.<\/p>\n

What is your favorite part about Marshall University?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s close to home. The campus is beautiful. Also my dad, step-mom, and uncle are alumni.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

What are your future plans for after you leave Marshall? If no plans yet, what would be your dream plan?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My dream would be to work for google or work for a video game company as a programmer.<\/p>\n

What did you want to be when you were growing up?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A math teacher.<\/p>\n

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Play video games and hang out with my rabbit Obie.<\/p>\n

What advice would you give your younger self?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don’t be afraid to try something new, even it doesn’t align with your original plan.
