Meet Kris!<\/h2>\n

Kris Baldridge is a Junior at Marshall University, majoring in Advertising\/Journalism\/Public Relations. Kris joined the Marshall Online Team as a student intern in September of 2024. Kris supports Marshall Online with work on the newsletter, microcredentials, and adobe.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“Due to the nature of my major (Public relations, journalism, and advertising) and work study (Marshall Online \/ Design Department) I serve as an advocate for student and teachers alike on and off the clock!”<\/p>\n

What is your major and year?\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Junior<\/span> at Marshall University, majoring in Advertising\/Journalism\/Public Relations.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How long have you worked with Marshall Online?<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Since September 2024 but hope to be for the <\/span>foreseeable future<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your favorite part of working with the Marshall Online Team? <\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I really enjoy how fast paced Marshall Online is, the different opportunities presented by the microcredentials, and getting to see <\/span>blackboard<\/span> “under the hood”.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How have you grown professionally while on our team?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In a short <\/span>time<\/span> I have already <\/span>utilized<\/span> and become familiar with AI and Canva, both of which I had no experience with until joining the design team.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What might surprise us about you?<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I run an appliance repair service.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your favorite part about Marshall University?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I really like how all of the departments are always asking for feedback and how to better serve the students.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What are your <\/span>future plans<\/span> for after you leave Marshall? <\/span>If<\/span> no plans yet, what would be your dream plan?<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

My dream plan would be to one day practice law. <\/span>Education and personal injury are both appealing to me and in need of empathetic advocates.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What did you want to be when you were growing up?<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A doctor or rockstar! Both sound exciting.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Singing, reading, and staying active.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What advice would you give your younger self?<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
