Teacher Mini Grant

Hosting a teacher candidate for his/her Senior Capstone experience takes much time and dedication from the hosting PK-12 supervising teacher. Hosting teachers receive no monetary incentive or “thank you” for hosting Marshall University teacher candidates. For the time and dedication toward enhancing the learning experience of the teacher candidate, the hosting PK-12 teacher will be given the opportunity to apply for a mini-grant for his/her classroom to be used during the year in which he/she hosts a Senior Capstone experience teacher candidate (student teacher). Similar to the Student Teacher Mini-Grant, the mini grant will be reviewed by the Advisory Council, and a hosting teacher may receive up to $100 of materials or resources to be used in his/her classroom.
