This change is part of MUPS&#8217;s ongoing efforts to <strong>enhance <\/strong>our service delivery and provide a more <strong>seamless<\/strong> experience for all users, consolidating all your procurement service needs under the <strong>My Support<\/strong> tab in myMU.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How will this work?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The new process will work like the current Marshall University Information Technology (MUIT) ticketing system within myMU. To support the University community more efficiently, MUPS will transition away from e-mail submission of procurement requests to a form-based submission system integrated with the myMU \u201cMy Support\u201d tab. However, any emails sent to <a href=\"mailto:purchasing@marshall.edu\">purchasing@marshall.edu<\/a> will receive an automated message to direct you to myMU. <strong>Here, you can search for knowledge base articles, access service requests, and submit general tickets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I learn more?<\/strong><br \/>\nWe will be hosting a panel discussion to introduce our new tracking system, as well as provide additional context around Marshall Marketplace and the procurement process this Friday, <strong>March 27th from 11:30AM to 1:00PM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/teams.microsoft.com\/meet\/29542003452846?p=4mg2oAC3Gy0xBqKgJh\">https:\/\/teams.microsoft.com\/meet\/29542003452846?p=4mg2oAC3Gy0xBqKgJh<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>What will be expected of me?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All employees responsible for purchasing goods and services at Marshall University will be <strong>required <\/strong>to complete a virtual training, which will be available beginning <strong>April 1, 2026<\/strong> (additional details forthcoming). <strong>Completion of this training by <\/strong><strong>July 1, 2026<\/strong><strong> is required to maintain access to P\u2011Cards and Marshall Marketplace.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What can I expect after April 1,2026?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you email <a href=\"mailto:purchasing@marshall.edu\">purchasing@marshall.edu<\/a> after the new system is launched, you\u2019ll receive an automated reply directing you to submit your request through myMU. We will, however, still be actively monitoring that email so should a question arise about the new process, we\u2019ll be happy to assist you.<\/p>\n<h2>Amazon Return Process Through Marketplace<\/h2>\n<p>This guide provides step-by-step instructions for processing a return for an Amazon order through the Marketplace system.<\/p>\n<p>If you have an Amazon return, please notify us so that we can check credit memos and keep budgets in check.<\/p>\n<h3>Part 1 \u2013 Initiate the Return in Amazon<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Log into Marketplace.<\/li>\n<li>Click the Amazon Punchout Catalog.<\/li>\n<li>Select \u201cReturns &amp; Orders.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>You will be prompted to enter your password.<\/li>\n<li>In the search bar, enter the PO number.<\/li>\n<li>Click \u201cView Order Details.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Select \u201cReturn or Replace Items.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Locate the line item for the product being returned.<\/li>\n<li>Select Return and follow the prompts to answer the required questions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Part 2 \u2013 Process the Return in Marketplace<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Return to Marketplace.<\/li>\n<li>Navigate to Orders on the left side of the screen.<\/li>\n<li>Click Orders and search for the purchase order.<\/li>\n<li>Verify the Purchase Order status:<\/li>\n<li>The PO must be open to continue.<\/li>\n<li>If the PO shows Closed, send an email requestto have the PO reopened.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Part 3 \u2013 Reopen Receiving<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Locate the appropriate line item.<\/li>\n<li>Click \u201cReopen\u201d on the right side of the line item.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the required note explaining the return.<\/li>\n<li>Click OK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Part 4 \u2013 Complete the Return Receiving<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>After receiving has been reopened, click \u201cReceive.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>In the Action field, select Return.<\/li>\n<li>Enter any required notes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Click OK to complete the process.<\/p>\n<h2>Re-routing Invoices<\/h2>\n<p>The Office of Procurement Services is always here to help and guide you. As much as we would love to help you with any questions\/comments\/concerns about invoices, this is not our expertise.
