Housing & Meals<\/h2>\n

  • Housing:<\/strong> Participants will be provided with on-campus housing<\/strong> in one of Marshall University\u2019s residence halls, such as those in Marshall Commons (Gibson, Wellman, Haymaker, or Willis Halls). These facilities offer modern amenities and are conveniently located near research facilities and campus resources.<\/li>\n
  • Meals:<\/strong> Each student will receive a meal plan<\/strong> covering daily expenses, allowing access to various dining facilities on campus, including Harless Dining Hall, which offers an all-you-care-to-eat menu with diverse options.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Travel Support<\/h2>\n
      \n
    • Transportation:<\/strong> The program covers round-trip airfare<\/strong> or mileage reimbursement for students traveling from outside the area.<\/li>\n
    • Local Commuting:<\/strong> Assistance is available for local transportation needs, ensuring convenient access to research facilities and campus events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Stipend & Compensation<\/h2>\n

      Each participant will receive a $6,000 stipend<\/strong> for the full duration of the 10-week program<\/strong>.
      Additionally, outstanding students may receive conference travel support<\/strong> to present their research at national conferences.<\/p>\n

      • Students will have access to state-of-the-art labs, computing resources, and research tools<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      • Each student will be paired with a faculty mentor<\/strong> from the Department of Computer Sciences and Electrical Engineering<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
