The parent or graduate student borrower has the right to reduce or cancel the Federal Direct PLUS Loan offer.
To reduce or cancel the Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan, either provide a signed and dated statement or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org indicating your wishes to reduce (include new amount) or cancel the loan, your student’s name and MUID.
To reduce or cancel the Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan, the student may complete and submit an Award Adjustment Form to the Office of Student Financial Assistance. To make the request for Fall 2017 or Spring 2018, complete the 2017-18 Award Adjustment Form. To make the request for Fall 2018 or Spring 2019, complete the 2018-19 Award Adjustment Form.
