He received his B.A. from the Citadel College and his M.S. from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He moved his family to Huntington in 1960 and quickly became an avid Marshall supporter along with his wife, Elaine, who also perished in the crash. &#8220;Happy&#8221; was the WV state representative for the Jantzen Clothing Company as well as being the Secretary\/Treasurer of the local Midas Muffler Shop.
