Emergency Medicine Interest Group, MUSOM
We have monthly meetings with local ER doctors to discuss topics in emergency medicine. We also have hands on workshops to learn common ER procedures.

Pre-Physical Therapy Club
Students interested in applying for and attending physical therapy school.
The purpose is to inform prospective P.A. applicants on the aspects of the profession, the programs currently in the nation and the application process. We establish a setting for like-minded individuals to discuss personal experiences, future plans, and concerns associated with the profession.
This organization is designed to promote the success rate of Marshall students who desire to purse a career in veterinary medicine, while also supporting their desires to help animals through volunteering and other acts.
Student Nurse Association
SNA provides an opportunity to become involved in nursing related activities before graduation. Guest speakers at meetings provide a better understanding of the options a nurse has after graduation from a undergraduate BSN program.
Student Society of Health System Pharmacists, Marshall University (MUSSHP)
MUSSHP is a student organization that will be associated with the ASHP. MUSSHP will focus on the development of becoming a pharmacist within the healthcare system, research and education. As students, we will advocate learning through commitment to our studies and the involvement in the community of Huntington. MUSSHP will promote continuing education upon completion of our Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree with additional opportunities such as residencies or fellowships supported by ASHP. MUSSHP encourages career planning by exploring all options available to students upon graduation from MUSOP.
