Marshall adds FAQ to share the word about payroll changes

State-mandated changes to the way all state employees are paid are beginning later this year. To help employees better understand how the changes will affect them, Marshall has created a “Frequently Asked Questions” page. It appears on the website covering changes to payroll procedures and pay dates that begin in September.

“It’s extremely important that Marshall employees understand the changes to our payroll system that begin in September,” said Matt Turner, who is chief of staff. “We’re working with state officials to minimize the impact on our employees and doing our best to avoid any surprises. The best way to do that is for our employees to have the information they need well in advance of the changes. I encourage them to visit our website and also to let us know if their questions aren’t answered.”
