Native American dance documentary to be shown this afternoon

As a part of Native American Heritage Month and Marshall Libraries’ Cultural Literacy Series, the documentary, “Wacipi: Powwow” will be shown Wednesday, Nov. 18, beginning at 4 p.m. in Drinko Library 402.  This documentary is about traditional and pan-Indian dances from all over Indian Country.  Each dancer discusses his or her dance’s history and the significance of the powwow in Native culture.
