Robert Hutton to host reunion of art students Feb. 16

Robert P. Hutton, professor emeritus of art, who taught a variety of studio art courses for 29 years (1970-99), has been a full-time professional artist creating art in his two-story Hutton Art Studios and exhibiting his work in galleries and museums for 20 years since retiring from teaching.

Hutton and his wife, Robin, have established the Hutton Wayfarer Gallery in South Point, Ohio, and will host an event Saturday, Feb. 16, that will include a reunion of art students from Marshall who may have studied with him, a gallery talk and a studio tour. The couple would like to hear from any former students who are interested in attending.

The gallery is located at 52 Private Drive, 250, County Road 144, South Point, Ohio. Contact Robert Hutton by e-mail at
