Alissa Rookard<\/h2>\n

Women’s Center Coordinator <\/strong>
\nBOLD Women’s Leadership Network, Program Director<\/strong>
\nAlissa Rookard, a dedicated professional and Kentucky native, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from Morehead State University (2020). She brings over four years of experience in the non-profit sector, beginning her career as the lead advocate for survivors of sexual violence at one of Kentucky’s state-designated rape crisis centers, where she provided comprehensive support to individuals from diverse backgrounds. <\/p>\n

After taking special interest in the investigative process, Alissa advanced to serve as Multidisciplinary Enhancement Project Advocate for the Child Advocacy Center, where she guided minors and their families through the investigative process in Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia. <\/p>\n

As the Coordinator of the Women’s Center, Alissa fosters collaborations with community organizations and campus partners to address key issues including reproductive health, social justice, and gender equity. She leads several programs including the MU BOLD Women’s Leadership Network and Women of Marshall Awards, which promote leadership, empowerment, and recognition of folks across campus. <\/p>\n

Leah Tolliver<\/h2>\n

Assistant Dean of Wellness, Division of Student Affairs <\/strong>
\nLeah has worked in the Division of Student Affairs and has overseen the operations of the Marshall Women’s Center since 1996. With nearly three decades of experience, she has played a pivotal role in advancing gender equity initiatives and building lasting partnerships across campus. <\/p>\n

Leah is passionate about fostering environments where every voice is heard, valued, and uplifted. <\/p>\n
