She brings over four years of experience in the non-profit sector, beginning her career as the lead advocate for survivors of sexual violence at one of Kentucky&#8217;s state-designated rape crisis centers, where she provided comprehensive support to individuals from diverse backgrounds. <\/p>\n<p>After taking special interest in the investigative process, Alissa advanced to serve as Multidisciplinary Enhancement Project Advocate for the Child Advocacy Center, where she guided minors and their families through the investigative process in Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia. <\/p>\n<p>As the Coordinator of the Women&#8217;s Center, Alissa fosters collaborations with community organizations and campus partners to address key issues including reproductive health, social justice, and gender equity.
