Black History Month kicked off February 1 celebrating Carter G. Woodson day. The Lyceum celebrated the father of black history and his many accomplishments and WMUL was invited to take part in the celebrations. The Board of WMUL for the Spring Semester. WMUL is having staff meetings on February 25 and 26 at 3:30 in Drinko hall 349. There will also be meetings on January 31 and February 1 at 3:30 in Drinko hall 402. News will start up again February 6.
This semester concluded at WMUL with our annual Holiday party where we celebrated a successful semester and our graduating staff members. We also announced the new board of directors for the 2017 spring semester. Huntington, W.Va. Members of the WMUL-FM staff will be out on the plaza playing music and promoting the station from 11 a.m to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8. NewsCenter88 will also be taking place on the plaza at 5 p.m.
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – WMUL-FM 88.1 MHz, Marshall University’s student-run radio station, will feature Red Dawson on Sportsview Wednesday, Nov. 11. HUNTINGTON, WV Students from WMUL-FM were in Charleston on October 21, 2015 to cover President Obama’s visit. The President was in Charleston Wednesday to discuss the growing drug epidemic in West Virginia, as well as across the United States. “More Americans now die every year from drug overdoses than they do from automobile accidents,” President
