Biography<\/h3>\n

Johnathan “Jeddy” Edwards is a recent grad of the School of Journalism with a degree in Sports Journalism. I enjoy traveling for concerts, amusement parks, and sporting events. In the last year alone, I got to be on the call for over 30 Marshall sporting events by being a part of the sports staff here at WMUL! In my spare time, whenever I do have it, I love spending time with my friends and family. I was a part of the crew that won half a dozen awards for one broadcast, it was Marshall men\u2019s basketball vs North Texas in early 2021. It was my first time producing, and the wonderful on-air talent made my job easy.<\/p>\n

Station Stuff<\/h3>\n

Programs: I\u2019ve appeared on shows like Sportsbuzz (now Buzzer Beater), Sportsview, and Herd Roundup. I recently launched Herd Rewind, check it out! I have also been on air and behind the board for Newscenter 88 a handful of times.<\/p>\n

Favorite Station Memory: Getting to call the SBC title for Men\u2019s Soccer or March Madness for WBB at VT<\/p>\n

Staffs: Sports<\/p>\n

Favorite Game Called: It\u2019s a tough one, but for play-by-play it would have to be baseball senior day. Marshall lost, but it was also my final game with the station and I got to call it with my best friend. As for color commentary, it\u2019s a tie between men\u2019s soccer beating WVU in the SBC Championship or opening day at Jack Cook Field.<\/p>\n
