Marshall Men’s Soccer Preview

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. (WMUL-FM) \u2014The Marshall University Men\u2019s Soccer Team concludes its 2025 regular season schedule tonight as the Central Florida Knights head to town for a mid-week showdown.<\/p>\n
The Thundering Herd enters the match seeking redemption after suffering two losses last week, one being on the field, and one in the standings.<\/p>\n
Marshall was given a bag full of tricks Halloween night as it traveled to Morgantown for the Mountain State Derby against West Virginia. Marshall was then shut out by the Mountaineers 3-0, which meant Marshall would lose its second SBC match and also give the SBC regular season title to the Kentucky Wildcats.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the Knights won their last match against Coastal Carolina, 3-1, to conclude an amazing October as UCF never lost throughout the month. Its worst results were 1-1 draws against Old Dominion and Georgia State.<\/p>\n
Marshall aims to avenge its loss against UCF in front of what should be a packed Hoops Family Field. The Herd looks to set itself up for more success and earn a higher seed in the SBC tournament come next week.<\/p>\n
