2023 Yeager Alumni Reunion<\/h2>\n

We had a great reunion in October 2022, and we’re doing it again in 2023! Thanks to a generous sponsorship from Jim and Bobbie Farley, the Yeager reunion is returning Oct. 13 and 14, 2023.<\/p>\n

The Main Event<\/h4>\n

Oct. 14: 7 p.m., Reunion Gala<\/strong>, Brad D. Smith Foundation Hall<\/p>\n

Wear your Marshall best (casual clothes welcome) and come prepared for fun! Cornhole, BBQ, signature drinks. This year, we’re asking our alumni to help us give back to Marshall through their time, talent and treasure. What will that look like? We’ll have areas set up at the gala where you can write thank you cards to our donors; a board where alumni can select ways they want to engage; and a financial goal we want our alumni to help us meet!<\/p>\n

Oct. 13: 3-4 p.m., Yeager Seminar Revisited with Dr. Jamie Warner<\/strong>, Drinko Library 138.<\/p>\n

Oct. 13: 4-6 p.m., Bell X-1 Investment Team<\/strong>, Old Main 230. Hosted by Matt Bromund ’96.<\/p>\n

Oct. 13: 6 p.m., Social Mixer,<\/strong> Summit Beer Station, 321 9th St. We’ll provide some light apps; you open your own tab.<\/p>\n

Oct. 13: 7:15 p.m., MU Men’s Soccer vs. Coastal Carolina<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Oct. 14: 8:30 a.m. Society of Yeager Scholars Board of Directors Fall Meeting<\/strong>, Shawkey Dining Room in the Memorial Student Center. Continental breakfast is provided.<\/p>\n

Oct. 14: 12:30 p.m. Book Social<\/strong>, Nomada Bakery. Hosted by Sarah Abbott ’14 and Ben Jones ’17. A book social is a more relaxed kind of book club! We are not reading a specific book prior to meeting. The only recommended preparation is thinking about a book you’ve read recently, whether you’d suggest it to others, and why.<\/p>\n

Oct. 14: 3-5 p.m., Video Game Social,<\/strong> MSC Game Arena (located in the basement of the student center). Hosted by current scholars. An all-ages tournament featuring Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., and Just Dance. Prizes will be awarded.<\/p>\n
