About ASEE North Central Section Conference

The ASEE North Central Section (NCS) cordially invites authors in the fields of engineering, engineering education, computer science, and engineering technology to submit workshop proposals, short and full-length papers, and student posters for presentation at the 2025 ASEE NCS Conference. Marshall University's College of Engineering and Computer Sciences will host this esteemed event in beautiful Huntington, West Virginia, from March 28th to 29th, 2025. Join us in fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence in education and research within our vibrant community. We eagerly anticipate your participation and contributions to our conference proceedings.

Call for Papers and Posters

We encourage submissions on topics related to the broad conference theme, including but not limited to:

• Innovative curricula or teaching techniques
• Implementation of smart technologies in classrooms
• Active learning: project-based and hands-on learning activities
• Incorporating sustainability into engineering
• Senior capstone projects, student research projects, and industry experiences
• Student retention and persistence
• Expanding opportunities, broadening participation, and mentoring talent
• Remote, distance, hybrid learning: methods, technologies, and assessment
• Community engagement, service learning, K-12 outreach with engineering
• Global engagement (e.g., study abroad programs, academic partnerships)
• Recruitment and retention of engineering students
