Marshall University’s Early Assurance Programs are competitive admissions programs designed for qualified students who are committed to a career in pharmacy, physical therapy or medicine.

Open to both in-state and out-of-state students, Marshall’s Early Assurance Programs provide students the opportunity to apply for provisional acceptance to professional programs.

Other benefits of Marshall University’s Early Assurance Programs include the following:

These special programs are open only to Marshall students;
There is no requirement to take standardized admissions exams like the MCAT, PCAT and GRE;
Having a clear pathway frees you from the stress and many of the additional expenses associated with traditional professional school application processes;
The programs may allow you time for other significant learning and service activities such as research or study abroad; and
Early Assurance students receive special mentoring, networking and educational enrichment opportunities.

You must be enrolled at Marshall University before applying to an Early Assurance Program. In addition, each program has its own eligibility, requirements and process for application, and there are continuing obligations once you are accepted into a program.
