Order of Omega

Order of Omega is a leadership honor society for members of Greek-lettered organizations. Order of Omega recognizes juniors and seniors who have exemplified high standards in the areas of scholarship, leadership, and involvement within their respective organization and within the Greek community, campus, and local community.

Members are selected from the top 3% of Greek students at each institution.

To date, over 500 chapters have been chartered throughout North America, each sharing the common goal of recognizing the many outstanding student leaders at their institution. Order of Omega seeks to improve not only Greek communities around the nation but to further improve the fraternal movement and participate in local services.

Our own local Omega Gamma chapter of Order of Omega tries to reach for more than just the stars. Our outlook as a chapter is to get as many Greeks involved in community services together through Greek unity. That’s who we are, a unified Honorary Greek society. We work, plan, participate, and serve together no matter what our Greek letters may be. We also strive to recognize those on Marshall’s campus that excel above and beyond! Every year, we hold the annual Faculty and Staff Breakfast for all of the Marshall University faculty and staff to show them how much Order of Omega appreciates their hard work. Overall, we are not just an honorary fraternity, we are a family of unified members who strive to go above and beyond in scholarship, leadership, and community and campus involvement.
