Daily Campus Visits
Almost any day is a great day to visit our campus through our daily tour and presentation program. We offer tours Monday through Friday (excluding university holidays) at 11 a.m., Mondays and Fridays at 2 p.m., and on select Saturdays at 11 a.m. In order to ensure the best possible tour experience for our visitors, we do limit the number of reservations for each tour session. See if the date you wish to visit is available on our event calendar.
Each campus visit begins with a student-led walking tour that takes you through our entire campus and highlights such locations as the Drinko Library, the Recreation Center, and the Memorial Student Center. Each tour lasts approximately one hour. Upon finishing the tour, you will receive a presentation from one of our recruitment coordinators which covers the admissions process and provides you with the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
There are many optional activities that you can participate in while visiting Marshall’s campus, such as meeting with a professor, sitting in on a class, or visiting the university bookstore. Please let us know when scheduling your tour if you would like to make additional appointments.
There are two ways you can register for a campus tour. You can call our office at 304-696-3646 or 877-GOHERD-1 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday, or you can see date availability and register online. Please note that our online tour registration requires you to create a user account for our system.
Will you be here at a time we’re not open? You can still explore our beautiful campus and learn more about Marshall University with our self-guided tour. Take your time walking through our beautiful campus, see if you can spot one of our famous squirrels, and Tweet us your campus selfie @murecruitment!
If you can’t make it to Marshall University for an in-person campus tour, you can still explore our campus though our campus video tours.
Our campus video tours provide an opportunity to explore our Huntington, WV campus through the eyes of current and former students.
