Core II Courses Info

Core II classes must be 100- or 200- level.

Which courses hold certain Core II attributes are determined by the Dean of the college listed below:

• College of Liberal Arts: Composition, Communications, Humanities, or Social Science
• College of Science: Math and Natural/Physical Science
• College of Arts and Media: Fine Arts

That dean (of CoLA, CoS, or CAM) should send an email to the registrar to request changes in the courses that hold Core II attributes – the General Education Council plays no role in determining which courses hold Core II attributes, and the list of Core II courses that appears on the General Education Council website is provided only for convenience.
