What is the Writing Center?
The
Writing Center is a free tutoring service for all Marshall University and
CTC students who want help with their writing. Our Writing Center is staffed by graduate and upper-level
undergraduate students who are trained to help at all stages of the writing
process and in any discipline.
How do I
make an appointment?
Students should make appointments using our
online scheduling system and are encouraged to bring all relevant assignment
material to their appointment. Click on the "Appointments" link to
schedule an appointment.
What if
I cannot come to the Huntington campus for a tutoring session?
Synchronous and asynchronous online tutoring are also available. Click on
“Online Tutoring” to find out more information.
What do I need to know before I come to my
tutoring session?
The Writing Center has outlined some policies and procedures we would like
students to become acquainted with before they arrive for their tutoring
session.
