Academic Accommodations

If you are dissatisfied with the manner in which your academic accommodations are provided, it is incumbent upon you to report, in writing, your dissatisfaction.

Your report should include:

1. Your name and Marshall ID number

2. Your phone number and email address

3. The Office responsible for your accommodation

(HELP, Office of Disability Services, Buck Harless Student Athlete Program, or the College Program for Students with Aspergers Syndrome)

4. Course information – course name and number, instructor’s name

5. Your issue

___Notetaker is inadequate

___Extended time not given for exams

___Test not given in a private location

___Test proctor is inadequate

___Tutor is inadequate

___Other

Please provide a brief and concise statement of your concerns.

You should use your Marshall email account to submit your report to Carla Lapelle, the Interim Dean of Student Affairs, at lapelle@marshall.edu.  The Dean will make every effort to remedy the situation so that you receive the appropriate, reasonable accommodations you have requested.
