Online College Courses in the High Schools (OCCHS)
Marshall's Online College Courses in the High School program offers qualified high school students the opportunity to take Marshall University courses online – 100% via the internet – for college credit while they are still enrolled in high school. The Online College Courses in the High Schools program gives high school students the opportunity to learn from Marshall University Instructors and Master Teachers, and earn college credit.

College Courses in the High School (CCHS)
A partnership linking Marshall University, Marshall CTC, and secondary schools in its area. Its Primary mission is to offer outstanding high school students the opportunities to enroll in challenging MU freshman courses during high school. The Marshall University Libraries provide access to library resources and instruction in how to use them.

Community School for the Arts
Housed in the College of Fine Arts, the School offers faculty development and learning activities which currently includes providing 15 virtual fieldtrips to 346 students in six Wayne County elementary schools.

Distributed Education
Uses technologies to deliver educational content to learners despite barriers of space or time, which currently includes providing virtual fieldtrips for six schools in Wayne County and two schools in Cabell County.

Exploring Engineering: Academy of Excellence (EEAE)
A summer engineering program for high school students, which is hosted by Marshall's College of Information Technology and Engineering (CITE).

Governor's Honor Academy (GHA)
Held at Marshall the last two summers, the GHA offers an academically rich environment for high abilitv high achieving students in an institution of higher education and challenges students to grow
Intellectually and creatively in a culturally diverse atmosphere. The Marshall University Libraries provide library instruction sessions to students attending GHA.

Health Sciences and Technology Academy (HSTA)
Serves disadvantaged WV 9th and 10th graders interested in science and math careers in the health
professions via a one week residential summer program.

Heart of Appalachia Talent Search Program
The Heart of Appalachia Talent Search Program helps disadvantaged 6th - 12th grade students develop the skills they will need to obtain a college degree.

June Harless Center Distance Learning Project
The Center offers classes to high school students in advanced subjects such as foreign languages, science, and mathematics via ATM lines. The Center also offers students participation in culture capsules.

K-12 Summer Enrichment Program
An integrated, activity-based learning experience for students under the age of 18.

Lego City
Supports a wide range of LEGO robotics programs, including Mars Rovers and remote rocket launching, at various elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the area.

RTI's PreK-12 Outreach-Rahall Transportation Institute
Outreach activities include Transportation Outreach on Wheels, Transportation Outreach on the Web, Adopt-a-School Program, and other workshops and activities at Marshall and its partner schools.

SCORES Search Committee for Recognizing Excellent Students
The Annual SCORES Festival offers over 120 unique contests that give high school students a look into the future of academics.

Upward Bound
It is designed to generate the necessary skills and motivation to assist its participants
(low-income, first generation students) in successfully completing high school and pursuing postsecondary education.

West Virginia State Science and Engineering Fair
Hosted by the College of Science, the WV State Science and Engineering Fair is open to all students in grades 9-12 who are attending WV schools. The Fair provides over $4000 cash, awards, a four year tuition waiver from Marshall University, as well as, sponsors student travel to the International Science and Engineering Fair and a Student Research Grants Program.
