Welcome to Marshall University's Online College Courses in the High School (OCCHS) Program, an innovative program designed to meet the needs of today's high school student!

Marshall University is proud to offer a variety of online courses to high school students, along with the support services vital to their success. We look forward to the opportunity of helping you achieve your educational goals.

Our online courses are designed for students who prefer to learn outside the physical classroom, according to their own schedules. Our goal is to offer Marshall University courses with a method of online delivery that will expand student access to our programs, courses, and services and that will provide them with a high quality educational experience.

Our online courses use WebCT-Vista, a popular web-based course management system. These courses reflect the same scope and depth of material and earn the same college credit as traditional classes. All of the learning tools that students need: syllabi, courses materials, e-mail, assignments, tests, and various communication tools--are contained in each online course.
