Staff – Trio Programs at Marshall University

	Nick Bedway, Director, earned his B.S. and M.A. from Marshall University and worked for the past six years as an instructor in the math department. Before coming back to work at Marshall, he worked seven years in the operations department of a bank. 	Patty Moore, Counselor, received her B.A. in Counseling from Marshall University and M.A. in Counseling and M.S. in Adult and Technical Education also from Marshall University. She worked as an Orientation Leader for the Office of Admissions prior to coming to the EOC. Her experience includes teaching and counseling Independent Living skills to youths. 	Roxanne Smith, Counselor, has a Regent’s Bachelor of Arts Degree and is completing a M.A. in Sociology from Marshall University. Her area of focus is gender and diversity in Appalachia. 	Roxanne Skiles, Administrative Assistant, worked 7 years for Upward Bound, another TRiO program before coming to work for EOC. She lives in Proctorville OH with her husband and has two grown children (one is a graduate of Marshall University and the other is a graduate of Malone University).
