Intercultural Students Weekend Referral Form

The Annual Intercultural Students Weekend would like you to nominate your academically excellent students to attend this prominent event.

The 2024 Intercultural Students Weekend will be held on March 8th & 9th, 2024, at 8:00 a.m.

The Intercultural Students Weekend will recognize the most promising and racially diverse group of high school students in our state and metro areas. We are requesting that you nominate your students who identify as African American, American Indian, Alaskan Native, Asian, Hawaiian Native, Hispanic/Latino, Pacific Islander, multiracial, and/or biracial and are presently enrolled as junior or senior with a 3.0 GPA, or greater to attend this weekend.

To nominate a student please fill out the form below, if you wish to nominate more than one student we ask that you please send an Excel or Word document to polk4@marshall.edu; the email file must contain the following information:

  • High School Name
  • High School Address
  • Student’s First & Last Name
  • Students Home Address
  • Student’s Home Phone Number
  • Class Status (i.e., Junior or Senior)
  • Name and position of the person referring student(s)
  • Work phone number.
  • Work email.
