Chase Lucas

Chase began working within Online Education throughout his undergraduate degree. Enjoying the interactions, processes, and helping faculty deliver their content and expertise to students in various distance learning modalities. Replicating the connections and relationships that can form in the face-to-face classroom is something that he strives to do. Making students feel welcome and build a connection with Marshall University, their instructors, and peers. Graduating from Colorado State University with a M.S. in Teaching and Learning enhanced his skills in delivering trainings and identifying what students want out of their ever-evolving online education. He envisions our team innovating the online education work space and offering resources that prepare faculty to utilize new technology, in turn enhancing their student’s online education experience. When Chase isn’t on campus he enjoys, live music, sporting events, and the outdoors. He also has his American bulldog named Cleo, whom he loves dearly.
