Marshall University Classified Staff Council
Mission Statement We, the classified staff employees of Marshall University, seek to promote a positive work environment for all classified staff employees, without regard to race, color, gender, religion, age, handicap, national origin, or sexual orientation. Further, we are committed to ensuring the fair, equal, and just treatment of all staff members and to facilitating the creation of a workplace atmosphere free from fear, intimidation, threat and/or harassment in any form in which it may exist. In recognition of the need to provide for a free and open forum to our state and institutional administrators on all matters affecting the welfare of our classified staff employees, we duly constitute a representative organization to further the means. Therefore, we collectively form in association a Classified Staff Council, with representatives impartially elected from and by all members of our classified staff, to act on our behalf and in our interest.
