Marshall University offers 49 Master’s Degrees, 7 Doctoral Degrees, 2 Education Specialist Degrees, and 33 certificate programs. New doctoral professional programs in Pharmacy and Physical Therapy are now welcoming their second class. Marshall University graduate students enjoy low tuition rates, competitive financial support, small classes, a distinguished student-centered faculty, and state of the art research facilities  Our mission is our commitment to the intellectual, professional, and personal growth of our students through the delivery of high quality education at times and places convenient to them.  Our programs are relevant, responsive to student needs and to technology advancement, and maintain high standards of excellence. Throughout the state Marshall University offers master’s degrees, post-master’s  programs, doctoral degrees and professional development options according to needs and with a minimum of duplication.


WHERE WE ARE

Marshall University offers graduate education on the Huntington campus, the South Charleston campus, throughout the state and region, and online world-wide. Some programs offer courses on either the Huntington or South Charleston campus. Some programs offer courses on both campuses and students may complete those programs, start to finish, at the campus location of their choice.  Graduate courses may also be offered through Marshall University’s regional center locations in Teays Valley, Point Pleasant, or Beckley.     The Huntington campus is the home of the Graduate College which is the academic/administrative center for many graduate degree and certificate programs at Marshall University.

  • South Charleston Campus
    The South Charleston campus is the location of graduate units of the College of Education and Professional Development, the College of Business, and the College of Information Technology and  Engineering. The campus also houses the graduate Humanities program of the College of Liberal Arts.
