Admitted Transient Steps

Contact Your Home Institution's Financial Aid Office

Financial aid to attend Marshall University as a transient student must be awarded by the student’s home institution. Please be sure to contact the financial aid office at your home institution for more information about obtaining and applying financial aid for your Marshall tuition.

Register for Classes

Transient students attending Marshall University can register for courses by accessing the student portal. For technical assistance accessing your online student account, please contact Marshall University’s IT Service Desk. For advising assistance, you can contact University College at 304-696-3169.

Get Your Campus ID and Computing Account

Once you have completed your application, go to mymu.marshall.edu and click the “First-Time Users” link. Set up your account by following the instructions given. To obtain your campus ID, visit the Campus ID website.
