Taking the NCE/NCMHCE and CPCE

NCE/NCMHCE

Students wishing to take the NCE/NCMHCE prior to graduation will need to do so in their last or next to last semester to be sure they have completed the appropriate courses. Students who are about to graduate may still apply to take the test on campus the following semester as long as they are enrolled at the time they apply. You MUST apply to take the exam 6 months in advance of the test administration date. The application for testing link is listed below.

CPCE

All students admitted from the fall of 2016 forward will be required to take the CPCE (Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Examination). Students needing to take the CPCE will need to apply for the exam several months prior to the exam administration date. The link for the application for testing is below.
