Counselor in Residence

The Marshall University Counselor in Residence resides in a Residence Hall and provides psychological services to students. The Counselor in Residence provides walk-in, house call, and crisis intervention services to students living in Residence Halls. Outreach, psychoeducation and prevention activities are also services provided by the Counselor in Residence. For office hours, and more information lease visit the following link.

Office Hours (excluding weekend office hours):

  • MWF: 5-9
  • T: 5-6
  • Th: 7-9

 

Office Hours (including weekend office hours):

  • MWF: 5-9
  • Sunday: 5-6 and 7-9

***These hours apply every other week, starting in the Fall Semester on August 26th.  In order to tell which office hours apply, refer to the dates listed below and then look at the weekdays directly before that date.  Those are the dates in which the second category of office hours apply.  For instance, since the CIR has office hours on August 26th from 5-6 and 7-9, the CIR will only have office hours on Monday, the 20th, Wednesday, the 22nd, and Friday, the 24th of that week.  On the following week, the CIR will have office hours every day.
