This year the Marching Thunder is excited to announce a new experience for color guard, majorette, featured twirler, and percussion students in our area.  Our HerdBeats (Battery and Front Ensemble) clinics will give students of all ages and ability levels an opportunity to learn from the Marching Thunder’s talented educators in a fun and exciting environment.  Students will learn technique as well as music to help them grow as performers.  These clinics will take place in the morning and afternoon of Saturday, May 6, 2017.

The other aspect of our Herd Marching Clinics is the audition portion for eligible students.  Students who will be attending Marshall University in the fall will be able to audition for the color guard, majorettes, featured twirlers, and percussion sections that evening.  This gives prospective members the opportunity to learn for the entire day and the show off their skills in a low-pressure environment that evening.

There will be a $20 registration fee for all participants that can be paid at check-in.
