Several times a year, pharmacy students collaborate with fellow healthcare students at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, the School of Physical Therapy, and the College of Health Professions to improve patient care through case studies.
While earning your PharmD at Marshall, you will earn three additional American Pharmacists Association certifications at no cost to you. You will earn:
- Immunization (APhA) certification
- Medication Therapy Management (APhA) certification
- Diabetes Management (APhA) certification

- ACT Math Score of 24 (or equivalent SAT)
- ACT English Score of 21 (or equivalent SAT)
- High school GPA of 3.5
- Work closely with the School of Pharmacy Office of Student Affairs regarding when to apply
- Complete prerequisite coursework (55 hours) in 2 years with a 2.5 GPA
- Indicate pre-pharmacy as their intended concentration upon entry to Marshall University
- Must maintain continuous full-time university enrollment (excluding summer terms)
- Work closely with the School of Pharmacy Office of Student Affairs regarding when to apply
- ACT Score of 21, Math Score of 21 or (or equivalent SAT)
- Complete MTH 127 or 130 and ENG 101 with a grade of C or higher
- Complete at least 15 credit hours of college coursework with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Complete the first 3 years with an undergraduate overall GPA and a GPA within in the major of at least 3.30 to enter the PharmD program in year 4
- Earn an undergraduate degree
- A recommended 2.5 overall GPA
- A recommended 2.75 prerequisite coursework GPA
