You can apply as a Non-Degree student if you have been out of high school for five or more years and have never been enrolled in a college course. Students who are age 65 and older can participate in Marshall’s reduced-tuition program for persons 65 and older. Note that non-degree students are not eligible for financial and can take no more than 30 semester hours.
We’re open to non-degree students who have never enrolled in college but who wish to enroll at Marshall University to take courses but not pursue a degree. If this describes you, then you can apply to be a non-degree student at Marshall.
