HLC Quality Initiatives

 

Marshall University Accreditation Reaffirmed

Marshall University’s accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission has been reaffirmed for another ten years, through the 2035-2036 academic year.

HLC Student Success Quality Initiative

Marshall will participate in HLC’s Student Success Quality Initiative (SSQI) program, from the 2026-2027 academic year through 2029-2030. Marshall is eligible to participate in this program by virtue of our successful Comprehensive Evaluation for reaffirmation in 2026.
The university will develop a SSQI project during the 2026-2027 academic year, and the project will be launched in fall 2027.
News and updates regarding the SSQI will be forthcoming.
