Marshall Commons is the go-to housing option for students seeking more independence and a modern living experience. Located right next to Harless Dining Hall, these suite-style buildings are home to our Honors College students and ideal for upperclassmen who want the benefits of campus life with a little more space.
Marshall Commons consists of four residence halls: Gibson Hall, Haymaker Hall, Wellman Hall, and Willis Hall (Honors College housing).

Room Layouts
Marshall Commons offers three types of suites in various layouts: four-person single, four-person double, and eight-person double.
Each room is furnished with a bed, mattress (twin XL), desk, chair, dresser and closet for each student.

- Double Rooms: approximately 14′ x 15′ 10″ = 210 sq ft
- Single Rooms: approximately 12′ 3″ x 9′ 7″ = 108 sq ft
- Windows: 4′ 9″ x 6′ 8.5″
- Desks: 42-1/4(l) x 22-1/8(w) x 30-1/4(h)

Hall Staff
Marshall Commons is staffed by an Area Coordinator (AC), an Assistant Area Coordinator (AAC) and 16 Resident Advisors (RA).
The staff strive to provide the residents with valuable information, create a positive community through educational programming, maintain a safe and high-quality living environment, and serve as a resource whenever a student has a question or concern.
