Who Needs to Apply?
- First-Year Students – First-year students are required to live on campus.
- Returning Students – Returning residents can participate in priority room selection.
- Transfer and Graduate Students – On-campus housing is available and encouraged for a convenient and connected college experience.

Step-by-Step: How to Sign Up for Housing
- Complete your Intent to Enroll with the Admissions Office
- Students cannot complete a Housing agreement until they have completed their intent to enroll requirements
- Select a Housing Agreement link below based on the academic year and your classification.
- Log-in using your Marshall credentials
- If you don’t have your Marshall credentials – contact the IT Service Desk
- Complete the Housing Application.
- Choose the term you’re applying for (e.g., Fall 2026) and follow the prompts:
- Personal and contact information
- Roommate preferences
- Meal plan selection
- Special accommodations (if needed)

- Receive Assignment
- Assignments are sent to the student’s Marshall email address in summer

Bill Noe Flight School Housing
Students planning to attend Marshall University’s Bill Noe Flight School in Charleston, WV can apply for housing located on the West Virginia State University campus.

Graduate & Non-Traditional (21+) Student Housing
Adjacent to the Health Sciences campus and a few blocks from Marshall University Huntington campus, The Landing offers housing options to current graduate students, students in Pharmacy, Medicine, Forensic Science, Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant programs, students 21+ years of age.
