Biography
Dr. Tortorelli is a Lecturer in Classics in the Humanities Department at Marshall University. He received his PhD in Classics at Brown University and his BA in Classics and Biochemistry at the University of Florida. He has served as the Director of Ancient Greek at Northwestern University and the Director of Latin and Ancient Greek at Texas Tech University. His interests include Greek and Roman lyric poetry, Athenian tragedy, textual criticism, ancient spectacles, and theories of madness in the ancient world.
