Are you ready to reserve your spot as a Son or Daughter of Marshall University? We’re excited to have you! If you have been officially accepted by the Office of Admissions and received your letter of acceptance, congratulations and welcome to the Marshall family! Now it’s your turn to take the next step.

When you submit your $100 enrollment deposit, you’ll officially reserve your spot in the incoming class. You can then apply for campus housing, register for New Student Orientation and secure your Fall or Spring semester course schedule.

Enrollment Deposit Waivers Available

In limited situations, based on Marshall University financial aid records, the Enrollment Deposit may be waived for certain individuals. For information related to obtaining an Enrollment Deposit waiver, contact the Office of Admissions at 304-696-3160, 1-800-642-3499, or admissions@marshall.edu.

Additional Payment Options

Pay by credit card or electronic check over the phone by calling 304-696-6620 during our normal office hours, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Send a personal check, cashier’s check or money order – with the student’s name and Marshall ID number on the payment – made payable to Marshall University to:  Marshall University Office of the Bursar / One John Marshall Drive / Huntington, WV 25755.

Fully Refundable

The enrollment deposit is fully refundable until May 1 for Fall semester and December 1 for Spring semester, and the deposit will be applied to your first semester account balance. For more information, contact the Office of the Bursar at marshall.edu/bursar.

Students admitted for the Summer or Fall semesters should submit their request before the Fall semester begins, and students admitted for the Spring semester should submit their request before the Spring semester begins.
