Daily Tours

We would love for you to come explore our beautiful campus in Huntington, W. Va. We offer private campus tours Monday through Friday at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. A member of our Admissions staff will guide you through campus, highlighting such locations as Drinko Library, the Recreation Center, and the Memorial Student Center and Fountain. Along the way your guide will answer any enrollment question you may have. And if you are a senior in high school, you can complete an application on the day of your visit and the $40 application fee will be waived.

There are two ways you can register for a campus tour. You can call our office at 304-696-3646 or 877-GOHERD-1 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday, or you can register online. Please note that our online tour registration requires you to create a user account.

Daily Campus Tour Rules and Requirements
Your group may include no more than 4 family members/guests who have traveled to campus together.
All visitors must complete and return the Coronavirus Screening Questionnaire the day prior to your campus visit. Your visit date will be delayed if the University Environmental Health and Safety Department determines there is a risk , or the form is not completed.
Individuals who disclose their fully vaccinated status are not required to wear masks inside university facilities. Those who need to wear a face covering are welcome to bring their own, or a disposable mask will be provided.
All visitors must have their temperature checked upon arrival. Your visit will be rescheduled if you or any guests have a temperature of 100.4 or higher.
