With Flying Colors
With Flying Colors is a psychoeducational, art-based counseling group designed to help students manage stress and anxiety during the midterm season. This six-week program begins three weeks before midterms and continues for two weeks afterward, providing support when students need it most.
Participants have the opportunity to better understand their stress levels through brief assessments, including the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) and the College Student Stressful Event Checklist. Throughout the program, students engage in creative, hands-on activities such as drawing, painting, crafting, and collage. These activities encourage self-expression, help students identify sources of stress, and introduce practical coping strategies they can use both inside and outside the classroom.
With Flying Colors offers a supportive and judgment-free space where students can connect with peers, explore their experiences, and build skills to navigate academic pressures in a healthy way.
