Total Comeback is a support program designed to help students successfully return to Marshall after completing a total withdrawal. We understand that stepping away from college often happens for complex, real life reasons and coming back can feel overwhelming. This program provides personalized support to help you get back on track both academically and personally.

What We Offer

Total Comeback provides hands-on support to address the barriers that may have impacted your time away, including:

  • Assistance with SAP appeals and financial aid concerns
  • Help resolving holds and navigating re-enrollment
  • Connections to mental health services and counseling
  • Support for food insecurity and basic needs
  • Academic strategies, time management, and study skills
  • Referrals to campus and community resources
  • One-on-one meetings and ongoing check-ins

Students also have the opportunity to participate in structured support through individual meetings and guided check-ins focused on building resiliency, improving academic performance, and managing stress.

Total Comeback combines individualized support with structured guidance over time:

  • Regular check-ins to stay on track
  • Optional support group focused on common challenges such as:
    • Time management
    • Mental health
    • Study skills
    • Class attendance and engagement
