Collegiate Recovery Community

We Are…

An Inclusive Community

The Marshall University Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) provides a safe and supportive space where students in recovery and their allies can connect, grow, and thrive while promoting a recovery-informed culture on campus. Through connection, education, advocacy, and service, the CRC seeks to reduce stigma, build community, and empower students to pursue wellness and academic success in recovery.

Students involved in the CRC have access to individual peer recovery support and coaching, recovery-focused groups, and a variety of recovery-friendly social activities—like bowling nights, movie outings, and other opportunities to build meaningful connections in a supportive environment. The CRC also encourages giving back through community service, including opportunities such as serving meals at Harmony House.

Join us every Friday at 4:00 PM for our All Recovery Meeting located in the Memorial Student Center (2W16A). We welcome anyone seeking a supportive space to share challenges and celebrate victories—whether related to mental health, substance use, or simply living a recovery-focused life.

This program is made possible by the West Virginia Collegiate Recovery Network, a program of the Marshall University Center of Excellence for Recovery.
