Marshall University’s CyberCon 2026 offers up to 16.5 Continuing Professional Education (CPE), Professional Development Hours (PDH), and Continuing Education Hours (CEH). Instructional time excludes keynote sessions and meal periods.

Credits Available

Participants may earn up to:

  • 16.5 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits
  • 16.5 Professional Development Hours (PDH)
  • 16.5 Continuing Education Hours (CEH)

 

Credit equivalency
1 instructional hour = 1 CPE = 1 PDH = 1 CEH

Credits are calculated based on verified attendance and are rounded down.
Participants are responsible for reporting credits to their respective credentialing bodies.

MU CyberCon is not pre-approved or formally registered as a provider with any credentialing organization. Participants receive a certificate for verified hours and are responsible for reporting those hours to their credentialing organization.

 

Instructional Time Policy

Instructional time includes:

  • 15-minute lightning talks
  • 30-minute standard sessions
  • 45-minute deep dive sessions

Instructional time excludes:

  • 9 a.m. keynote or panel sessions
  • Lunch period
  • Networking events
  • Sponsor or vendor activities
  • Social functions

Total maximum instructional hours available: 16.5 hours

 

Attendance Verification

Attendance is verified using a QR code scanning system located on each table in the conference room. Self-attestation is not accepted.

 

Credit Acceptance

Acceptance of continuing education credits is determined solely by the participant’s credentialing authority.
