Cyber Experience Day

The ICS Cyber Experience is an opportunity for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to explore the world of Cyber Forensics, Cybersecurity and Computer Science. Students will get the chance to get hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and techniques in our state-of-the-art labs, interact with students and faculty involved in the program, and learn more about what their career may look like if they pursue cyber.

This program is designed for students who are already interested in cyber as a career, as well as those who are still exploring their future options.

Program Overview

During the Cyber Experience, students will:

  • Digital Evidence Investigation: Learn how investigators can use digital evidence tools to recover deleted data.
  • Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT): Learn how Google can be utilized by investigators to uncover valuable information in our Advanced Digital Forensics Lab.
  • Cyberhive Lab: Get interactive, hands-on exposure to real-world cybersecurity monitoring and defense.
  • Cybersecurity Presentation: Hear from cybersecurity professionals and gain insights into current threats, careers, and opportunities.
  • Receive a tour of Marshall’s campus from our recruitment department.
  • Meet with Marshall University’s recruitment team, ask questions about admissions, and discover what it’s like to be part of the Herd.
