Biography

Daniela serves as the College Access Advisor for Wayne County in the HATS program. As a first-generation college graduate, she understands firsthand the transformative impact that access to higher education can have on students and families. This personal experience fuels her commitment to expanding opportunities and empowering students to achieve their goals. Daniela is passionate about supporting not only her students’ academic success, but also their personal growth and overall well-being. For nearly three years, she has worked closely with students from the Appalachian region, building meaningful relationships, and helping them navigate the path to college and beyond.

A Texas native, Daniela is proud to now call Appalachia home. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Spanish and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. Outside of her professional work, Daniela enjoys listening to podcasts, watching shows, puzzles, and exploring local spots with her husband and daughter.
