INFO: Students, teams, organizations, clubs, residence halls, faculty, staff, and community members are welcome to join in this unifying walk around campus from the Marshall Rec Center to the Memorial Student Center Plaza to show their Marshall pride! Registered student orgs may compete in a banner competition for cash prizes. Immediately following the walk, the Homecoming court will be announced.
6:00 p.m. – Blizzard of Buck-A-Roos
INFO: Blizzard of Buck-A-Roos is a fast-paced game show rooted in audience participation where students perform wacky stunts to win free cash and prizes, no strings attached! Event will take place on the Memorial Student Plaza immediately following the Unity Walk.

6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Taco Tuesday Murder Mystery Night
INFO: Join us for a dramatic, over the top murder mystery party set in the hills of Santa Barbara! This interactive event throws you into a world of suspicious neighbors, secrets, thrill, and one shocking murder! Can you solve the crime and identify the murder. Free Birria Tacos will be at this event for the first 100 students. Event will take place in BE5 in the lower level of the Memorial Student Center.

INFO: To close out Hispanic Heritage Month, join the ACE Center on the Memorial Student Center Plaza for their first ever salsa making competition! Chef Isobel “Izzy” Cross from Huntington’s Kitchen will be hosting.

INFO: Offices across campus are encouraged to decorate their space using the Homecoming theme “Wheel of Thunder.” Members of the Marshall University Alumni Association board of directors and other volunteers will spend the day visiting these wonderful offices. Awards will be presented on Friday, Oct. 17, during the bonfire.

INFO: Marshall Athletics presents the 4th Annual ‘Hoops in Huntington’ event at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 16 in front of Pullman Square, located on Third Avenue in downtown Huntington. Fans are encouraged to get to the event at 6:30 p.m. for an hour to enjoy an autograph session with the teams, along with knockout competitions, inflatables and food options that will be available leading up to the event’s 7:30 p.m. start.

INFO: Ride with rhythm, saddle with soul and watch the night unfold. Come join us as Southern Soul Superstar Lamar Brace host and Dj Reggie spins the records for a Line Dancing experience for the community and a trail ride battle between the Alphas vs Kappas. Event will take place at Heritage Station (210 11th Street, Huntington, WV).

INFO: Immediately following the Homecoming Parade, join us on Harless Field for a pep rally and bonfire. Our Marshall community can enjoy a bonfire with entertainment from the Marching Thunder, Marshall University cheerleaders, plus activities and appearances by Marshall coaches and players!

INFO: Get ready for a dance party like no other this Homecoming. Homecoming 24’s most popular event is back by popular demand. 3 DJ’s, 2 many glow sticks, and 1 dance floor!
