Custodial and maintenance staff assist residents in maintaining a clean, healthy and safe living environment in common areas of the residence halls; however, they are not expected to clean individual suites/rooms. Residents in First Year North and South, Gibson, Willis, Wellman, and Haymaker halls are responsible for cleaning their own bathrooms.
If you are experiencing an issue or would like to request maintenance assistance, you should submit a work order using the links below. If you need additional assistance or if a situation is urgent, contact your residence hall front desk as soon as possible.
Please note that although efforts are made for same-day response, work order requests will be prioritized based on severity. In some cases, multiple visits to the room may be necessary, but in most cases, the repair can be resolved with one visit.
Having issues with wireless internet in your room?
Internet issues cannot be fixed by maintenance staff and must be reported to the Information Technology (IT) department. To report an internet or Wi-Fi issue, log into myMU, select “My Support”, then click on the “Dorm Network Issue” under “Submit a Common Request.”
